- Yoga therapy for constipation
Chronic costiveness is one of the most common health problems in today’s societies. Around 12% of the world’s population undergoes this disorder. Some nations have even a third of their community with issues of this type.
It is a problem in the deeper part of the digestive system characterized by difficulty in excreting. Ayurveda manuals refer to this problem as symptomatology of the inequality of the Manipura Chakra. It is also known that any dysfunction in the digestive system has to do with poor emotional digestion. Thus, it is stated that the digestive system is the emotional brain of the body and that certain emotions or personal shortcomings can cause constipation due to the difficulty of getting rid of them.
If the person eats unhealthy food to adhere to the intestine walls, it does not allow its expulsion from the body. If you do not move hardly through the day and do not put your body inside operation, the intestines lose movement (peristaltic movement). With it, the content remains inside. Even though the body continues to digest food most of that time, the problem lies in the difficulty to defecate the viruses or remains of the digestion. The conditions can be varied, but mainly we can accuse the following circumstances of constipation:
- Lack of physical activity.
- Low water intake that makes the intestine to dry out.
- Fast food.
- Fiber deficiency in the diet.
- Emotional stress
- Little peristaltic movement.
The inability to eliminate waste from the basis causes heaviness, sluggishness, poor appetite, heart pain, headache, drowsiness, lack of energy, irritation, heartburn. It can even cause fever in prolonged constipation, infection in the blood, pimples and pimples, swollen legs, etc.
The most effective treatment, according to Yogatherapy, combines:
Water:
The first way to combat illness is through the water. If the stool is dry or the intestine walls hold dry remains of food, let’s use the sacred water that cleans and clears everything in its path. The warm water input with lemon and honey in the morning on an empty belly presses on the intestines while it feeds and revitalizes them.
Stomach wash:
On an empty stomach initial thing in the morning, prepare 1 liter or 1.5 liters of warm salted water. Squatting down, bones pressing on the lower part of the belly, drink this water without stopping. As soon as you have completed it, get up, lean your body forward over the toilet, insert your index and middle fingers into your throat, and stimulate vomiting. It cleanses the stomach by letting all the water come out, and food remains in the stomach. Try not to leave salty water inside. The next thing you will take is water with lemon or a digestive infusion. Try not to have supper the day before or make a copious dinner to do this practice the next day. Do it once a week: you will stimulate the body’s peristaltic movement and purify the blood.
